Recently...
You know on birthdays, or other landmarks all of you list what your child/children are doing? I can never remember, I have to do it along the way, so here is a little journal entry of what Kate has been up to...
Kate decided she wanted to be swaddled the other day after seeing us swaddle the babies multiple times a day.
Kate's favorite toy since she was about 9 months is buttons by far. Any day, any time, without fail, if you ask Kate what she wants to do, she will say buttons. She loves to put them inbetween all of her toes.
Kate got into trouble the other day for trying to put on mascara. I think she got a little on her eyelashes! It was pretty funny because I said "Kate" and I must have said it in "that" tone because she jumped right into the timeout chair. It cracked me up.
Kate LOVES talking on the phone. Any time I am talking with someone, she always wants to talk to them and sometimes even requests to call certain people.
Kate is also starting to ride her trike more. She is just about there with the pedals, but for now she just walks with her feet. Also, Kate loves to haul this little purse around with her. I love it!
We have had visitors for the last week and have been having SO much fun! My sister Melissa has loved doing Kate's hair everyday because she doesn't have a girl. Here is just one of the way cute hairstyles. I am so impressed!
Kate and Teagan have loved playing on this little slide play set. We put the slide into a little pool and they have had a great time with it!
Melissa is so nice too--she let Kate put on some makeup. Kate has been loving all the extra attention!
Kate is just growing up, she is so much fun.

And the Father of the Year Award Goes to...
Jeff
I don't do enough posts dedicated to Jeff, but especially this year Jeff deserves it on this Father's Day. I honestly don't know what I would do without Jeff. He is such a great father to our kids and still makes time to be a great husband to me. Every day, Jeff goes and works for our family all day, then comes home and rarely takes a minute for himself, but just helps with the kids and anything else we need to do. He is pretty amazing. If you call him at 5 or 6 in the morning, there is a good chance he is up feeding the boys. (and those that know Jeff well know sleep is very important to him, so this is a major sacrifice).

Baby Blessing
The baby blessing was so nice. Jeff did such an awesome job. He really puts a lot of thought into what he says and I appreciate it! Our kids are lucky to have such a good dad! We had a lot of support for the blessing. My mom came, and a lot of support from Idaho. We also had all our family here in Utah come, we appreciated all the support!

It was just such a special day though. The boys looked so handsome and were so sweet. And I wish I had a picture of Kate because she was looking pretty darn precious too. I loved it.

Conversation
We just spent the night with Jeff's family and when we got home...
Jeff: Kate, what was your favorite part of tonight?
Kate: Kate Lewis
(We taught Kate how to say her full name today)

Interrupting Cow
Have you heard the joke that goes like this:
Knock Knock
Who's There?
Interrupting Cow
Interupting Cow Wh-MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
(the person gets interrupted in the middle of saying who) I think this is the funniest joke. This used to describe me because I am a terrible interrupter.
But, I have recently gotten worse and there is a new commercial out that reminds me of what I have become. It is the one (for all you tv watchers) where the guy has a new laptop that is really small. He is sitting on a park bench next to a girl with a regular sized laptop. She keeps trying to comment on his laptop and he cuts her off first word and keeps finishing her sentences. It bugs me just to watch the commercial!
Anyway, sorry to all of you out there that I am constantly interrupting. That is on my to do list, to not interrupt so much. I thought if I wrote it on here, then I really will be held accountable!
