Oregon Day 1

We have been talking about going to the Oregon Coast for a few years and we were so excited to finally make it happen. We thought we would have to cancel because of Coronavirus, but we caught Oregon during a lull in the virus. We drove for a whole day without stopping and ended up in Portland the first night.

The kids had many activities to keep them busy.

There were some really cool bridges near The Dalles. We drove across the bridge and, Wah lah, we were in Washington.

Here are the kids standing in Washington state--it was a four state day (Utah, Idaho, Washington, and Oregon).

We spent that first night at Mom's cousin Becky's house. We had just spent time with them at the Durtschi reunion the so it was fun to see them again so soon!

 We are all so excited to start this trip!
