Kids Fall Sports

We had such an insane with fall sports.  Austin chose soccer, Scott chose baseball, and Kate chose soccer, so for 4 weeks, we had 7 different sporting events to be to each week (on top of the rest of our crazy fall!)

Austin really picked up the game this fall, he was always very clear which direction he was going and got to know the game well.  We loved seeing him in there hustling, kicking that ball, and having a great time!

Kate played on the same team with a bunch of friends (Kayli Ballif, Spencer Rugg, Aidan Drage, and Haylee Birdsall).  She is continuing to learn the game and excel becoming one of the key players on her team.  Kate scored a few goals this season and we were all so thrilled.  Kate is so fun to watch, she gets in there and fights for the ball and is continuing to LOVE soccer!

Scott really enjoyed playing baseball.  This was his first time, so this was a learning season--learning to hold the bat, how to hit the ball, how to run the bases, etc.  He seemed to really enjoy it and was able to hit the ball from the coach by the end.

And during the many sporting events, we hung out and enjoyed watching the kids learning their new skills.

During one game, this girl was loving Ty, he wasn't quite sure, but stayed by her for a long time with this expression.  Pretty funny!

What a fun and crazy season!

Cowboy Up

Austin got this hat from Grandpa Durtschi and loves to put it on, then brings me his jump rope and asks me to tie a lasso.  He cracks me up!

Wheeler Farm

The kids begged and begged, so we went to Wheeler Farm.  We got to see and feed lots of animals, play on some of the old equipment, and even go on a hay ride.  As always, fun times!

Austin's and Scott's First Day of Kindergarten

Scott was 100% excited for kindergarten to start with his teacher Mrs. Christensen.  He couldn't wait to get to school!

Austin was somewhat apprehensive about going to school, but loved his teacher Mrs. Lougy and hasn't looked back!

Austin was cracking me up with his pictures!

I could NOT get them to look, they were looking at the kids running around and wondering what they had gotten themselves into!

Austin was in Lindi's class.

Waiting...

There was a one week break between when Kate started and when Austin and Scott started, so there was some boredom and impatience.  We tried to entertain ourselves until that anticipated day arrived!

Ty has also decided that he is at least 5 years old.  The way he acts, you wouldn't know there is a 4 year age difference!!
