Happy 4th birthday to our big Ty man

Can't believe our big man is 4!

Favorites:
Color:  Green and Blue
Candy:  Candy Cane
Movie:  Rescue Bots
Show: Train Shows (Chuggington and Thomas)
Book:  Truck books
Clothes:  "Comfy" pants (sweats) and a BYU shirt'
Song:  Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam

Ty is so fun right now.  He loves to try and be apart of every conversation and will add things (that don't always make sense, but always make us laugh)  He is very emotional, so we definitely get the highs and the lows.  The good news is that when Ty is around, we always know it will be exciting.

Every time Ty prays, he says, "please bless that the kids will get home from school safe." He really loves his siblings.

We usually do his birthday in June, but we decided to celebrate it on his actual day, but still do presents in June, with the exception of an umbrella

Grandma Packer came down for Ty's birthday and gave Ty this special blanket.

...and by the late afternoon, Ty was exhausted and took a nap with his new blanket.

We had all of the local Lewises over for cake and ice cream as well as Grandma Packer who was in town.

Ty had a pretty fun day!

We love you to pieces little bud!

Sledding

For Ty's birthday, we decided to go sledding at a hill close to our house.  It was freezing, but a lot of fun and we had the hill to ourselves.

Kate learning to ski and getting used to the feel, Dad pulled her all over

We bundled baby up really good, he seemed to stay pretty warm and enjoyed himself pretty well.

There was a little mini tube someone left that was Logan's perfect size, so he got a ride down the hill.

Christmas Eve and Christmas

We continued our tradition of decorating Gingerbread houses on Christmas Eve.  Whitney and Joe came over too which made it even more fun.

Dad and Austin working on Austin's house

Joe hung out with Logan a lot (which means entertained and kept baby happy) while everyone decorated houses.

 Clockwise: Ty, Austin, Scott, Kate

The kids all got one piece pajamas on Christmas Eve

Grandma and Grandpa Lewis came over for dinner and let the kids open their presents that night, they all got legos and were so thrilled! (Logan got a new outfit)

Christmas morning!  This is about 7:30 (the older kids were told they could wake up at 7, then we had to wait for Ty to wake up)

Scott's present to us.  When he was making this at school, he just thought that it was a present for anyone.  So he said to Austin, from your Nemesis  (Kate helped him fix it)

The kids all drew one name of their siblings.  It was such a special part of Christmas!
Austin drew Logan and got him a new fun baby toy, Austin is hugging baby.

Scott got Ty some Minion play dough, he loved it so much!

Logan drew Kate and picked out a nice Lego set for her

Austin was so thrilled with his umbrella from Ty

Scott and Austin so excited about the Star Wars set Grandma and Grandpa Durtschi got them.

This basketball game was from Santa and was really fun for the whole family.

Kate got a new BYU soccer jersey.

We had a wonderful Christmas.  We were all healthy and enjoyed a nice day together!  We went to church for an hour where the kids were very squirelly, but we got to sing a lot of church songs, it was really nice.
