My 100th Post

This may be old news to a few of you, but we wanted to officially announce... we are expecting twins! I am about 14 weeks along, so I feel like I am out of the danger zone (as much as you can be) I am due March 29, but my doctor won't let me go past the 15th, so I guess that is my due date. We find out on November 7 the sex of the babies and right now we don't know if they are identical or fraternal. We are excited, especially about the daytime hours, but from 12AM-6AM makes us a little nervous. It will definitely be an adventure!

Still no camera

Well, like I mentioned in the previous post, still no camera! We are thinking of just getting a new one. Any suggestions for a good but inexpensive camera? Things are going good here. We are just getting into the swing of fall which means BYU on most weekends and just enjoying the perfect weather. Kate has come to the last couple games and does so good. I think she has a good time! I am starting to get excited for the good tv shows to come back on (I have turned into somewhat of a tubehead in the last couple years). I am most excited for:
The Office
Samantha Who
Chuck
I am also starting to get ready to do some projects--sewing or scrapbooking or just any craft. That is always how I am in the winter. Also I need some new books to read. Has anyone read any good reads lately?

So, 2 questions to answer from this post
1. Any suggestions for a good but inexpensive camera?
2. Any suggestions for a good book?

Washington Trip

On the plane in the early hours of Friday. We had such a great trip in Washington! Kate was so good for the trip--especially considering she didn't get a real nap the entire time! We got there Friday morning and went to the Puyallup Fair. We had a great time there! We looked at animals, ate greasy food, and just had a good time!
Then Friday afternoon, we headed down to Graham to visit Daegan--my friend from high school! She was so hospitable and made us YUMMY tacos! And her little boys are so cute! I just loved to see her! Sadly, Kate broke the camera on the way there so there are no pictures from this point on (until everyone sends me copies!) Saturday was pretty much devoted to BYU football. It was SUCH a great game! It was so close. Now--to address the controversial celebration call. 1. In my mind, Washington never should have even scored the touchdown. If the Pac-10 officials had been calling the game right, they would have called holding against Washington when they got the 19 yard pass that set them up for the touchdown. 2. It is a set rule--if the ball is thrown up, it is a penalty. Anyway, it was a great game and fun to win on the road! We had a barbecue that night at the Wilsons--they were so nice to have the whole crew there! Sunday, we went to downtown Seattle and saw Pike's Market and walked down to the water. It was really fun to see it because I had never been there. Monday morning we came home. It was just such a nice trip and so nice to be staying at the Wilsons' house. Good times!

BYU Season Opener

Last Saturday, we went to the first BYU game. It was so exciting to be in the stadium again and it was so full (as you can see), I always love to see that! We won the game, and there were definitely some mistakes, but hopefully BYU can learn their lessons early before some of the really challenging games! We are off to Seattle tomorrow to watch BYU play Washington! We are excited!

My Quirks

Well, I am going to try to think of some for myself, it is hard because all of the weird things I do, I think are normal. Jeff's are so much easier, I didn't even have to think, so here are mine (and just to warn you, some may not qualify as a quirk):

1. I like to have a clean kitchen (even if no other room in the house is clean). I can't relax. For example, after dinner, I can't have dessert until the kitchen is clean. I just don't enjoy it. I also hate to wake up and have to clean from the day before.

2. I like to wave at everyone that goes by whether I know them or not, it is just a habit, probably from living in a small town

3. I wash my face with one hand. I don't want both hands to get wet.

4. I love tape. I like to pull off a piece and put it on my lips and pull it off, it feels really cool, you should try it if you haven't.

5. I like to have things in their place--cupboards shut, chairs pushed in etc. The funny thing is I didn't realize this until I noticed Kate doing this.

6. I pace when I am on the phone--I need something else to do at the same time. I like to make patterns as I am talking, like hopping from tile to tile, no cracks, or trying to step from different pattern to pattern. Or if I am not pacing, I like to sit on my quilt and see how many jumps (with my mind) I can do without touching the same square.

I am not sure if these qualify as quirks, but this was all I could think of! I must be really boring! Maybe my family could say more!
