Ty funnies

Mom:  What have you been up to?
Ty:  A mission

Mom:  We are going to go to Sam's club in a minute with dad.  How does that sound?
Ty:  That sounds horrible.

Ty: Truth or dare?
Jeff:  Truth
Ty:  I dare you to go potty!

Dad explained to Ty that when the baby comes, he will need to be completely done with diapers.  Ty promptly came in the room and informed Mom that the baby was stuck in her tummy and would not be coming out.

Mom was holding another baby, and Dad teasingly told Ty that the baby came out of mom's tummy.  Ty looked really surprised and checked mom's tummy (still big), happily assured that the baby in fact had not come out.

This is Ty's "mean" face.  He makes it and says he is mean.  This picture doesn't quite do it justice!

President's Day Weekend

Mom got to come help at Kate's Valentines Party, it was fun to see Kate's classroom and her in it.

Zac and Melissa and family came for the weekend and we had so much fun!!  On Valentines Day, we continued our tradition of making homemade pizzas and they did not disappoint!  I think they were the best yet!

We even tried a desert pizza (on a sugar cookie crust) which we didn't get quite right (too doughy), but maybe we will try again next year!

The kids all had SO much fun together!  There were definitely tears when they had to go home!

After they left, the inversion we had been enjoying for a few weeks cleared and we got a gorgeous 50 degree day in the middle of February!  We took advantage and played outside all afternoon!  We even got this little red bike down for Ty.  He has the balance down, now just needs to learn how to pedal.

It was such a great weekend and just what we needed to push through til spring!

Austin and Scott play basketball

Austin and Scott decided to play basketball this winter.  Cini and Grant were on their team and Cini's dad coached.

Getting trophies after the last game. (Austin orange, Scott green)

It was definitely a learning experience and although both seemed overwhelmed, they improved over the season and both said they want to play again next year.

Provo City Center Temple Open House

We have not been able to go to the last couple of temple open houses that were in our area, so we were so excited to take advantage of this opportunity!

We were a little nervous when we showed up and faced this line, but surprisingly, it went fairly quickly and we had a good time while waiting!

The kids watched a video about the architecture and the design before we went in.  It made it really interesting, because the whole time, they saw different little designs and were explaining to us what they meant.  They also were looking out for certain things, it made the visit even more meaningful and we were all so glad we went!

After, Ty was holding Scott's hand

Since we were in Provo, of course we had to stop and eat at Brick Oven.  It was such a fun family day!

Happy Birthday mom!

Mom turned the big 33!

Dad spoiled mom so much with delicious omelettes for breakfast, salmon for dinner followed by a carrot cake.  (Dad worked so hard to make the day nice for mom, that he crashed on the couch for the night  at about 8 pm!)

Thanks everyone for making it such a special day!

Austin's Principal's Pride
