Church Basketball

I coach the girl's church basketball team and yesterday was a sad day. It was the game to decide whether or not we go to regions, and I am not going to go into all the details, but it was not a fair game. I am just fine losing when the game is fair, but ooooh, I am angry when the game is not fair. Let me just say the refs openly admitted after the game that they were harder on us than the opposing team. You know though, I am not going to go into more details because I am finally starting to settle down, but it is just sad. Well, at least there are lessons learned for next season, and footsall starts soon (I guess that is indoor soccer) and I am REALLY excited about that! My girls did such a good job and all in all it was a really fun season.

Where's Waldo?

So we do this thing in our ward (we call it Where's Waldo) where the the YM and YW all go to the mall and the leaders dress up as random things and the YM/YW have to find them. Well, I am supposed to dress up, but I don't know what to do, especially so it won't be obvious! Any ideas?

6 Month Pictures

I know Kate is almost a year, but we just got these pictures back (a friend took them) and I just had to post them because I thought they turned out so cute! Kate's little cheeks were so chubby, and they still do look chubby, but they had some meat! I love it!

House Project

Last fall, we noticed water pooling up in the basement floor. We had the plumber come and check it out and he put a camera down the pipe and found out we had serious holes in our pipe under the concrete. They quoted us between 2 and $3000! So we talked to my dad and luckily he agreed to come help us. We hired people to take the concrete out and ended up doing it all for $420! Now that is a good feeling and even better to have it done this last week. The house projects seem to be never ending!

12. Who mows the lawn? Definitely Jeff! He won't let me! Probably because when we first moved into the house, I accidently had it on the shortest setting and our lawn looked ready for the army!
13. Who cooks dinner? We both do, if it is a nice dinner, I do since I am home during the day.
14. Who is more stubborn? Probably me, but we both have our stubborn topics.
15. Who kissed who first? Jeff kissed me first. In his parents basement. That just makes me laugh.
16. Who asked who out first? Jeff (You know Julie, there's 2 for 1 milkshakes at the Malt Shoppe tonight...) I love it!
17. Who proposed? Jeff, at my home ski resort.
18. Who has more friends? Definitely Jeff. He's so good at keeping track of his friends and he makes friends wherever he goes, it is fun because I can make friends with the wives.

Visitors

On Monday morning, I was talking to my sister, Melissa on the phone. My dad was coming down that day, so she decided to come down for a few days! It was so fun! We didn't do much and I felt bad because we were a little busy, but it was so great to have her here! I love my sister!

We also took some pictures of Teagan (6 weeks) and Kate. They were pretty entertaining!

Funny games with Daddy

Jeff and Kate started doing this funny game together. Kate will put her head to the side, then Jeff will and it is so cute! Kate thinks it is so funny! Kate is growing up so much, she is such a fun little girl.
