Random Summer

Kate planned a daycamp for some kids in our neighborhood.  This took months of planning with her friend Lucy.  They went around the neighborhood, planned activities and ran a really good program.  The kids and parents loved it.

We bought this trailer and needed to lay some more concrete because we moved the fence back.  Mom, Dad, and Andy McIntyre did this project.

Gourmet lunch made by dad, Yum!

We had a barbecue with some friends, this is Logan and his pal Jubilee

Ty took swimming lessons this summer, he loved them!

Scott

Austin

Austin and Scott got to go to Idaho again for a week and help Grandpa Durtschi.  They got to ride a bus up.  The bus ended up being 1.5 hours late and the boys were very concerned (luckily, they had the home phone so they could be in contact with Mom).  It was very dark and very late when they arrived.  They grabbed their suitcases and when they got back to grandma and grandpa's, Scott realized that he had grabbed the wrong suitcase.  After Mom made some phone calls, the family helped out and got Scott his suitcase.  It was a rough start, but the rest of the week was great!

Playing in the sandbox, making a big pool.

Austin and Scott's end of year piano recital.  Both boys did an excellent job!

Going camping with the new truck and trailer

These two boys fell asleep in the same bed, they love causing a big ruckus at bedtime and I guess they tired themselves out.

More camping, Logan picked these flowers while camping at Soapstone.

Pool Time

Logan, Kate, and Ty quickly got the pool out once summer had started.  They love putting the slide into the pool.

Ty loves jumping off the top into the water.
