Hiking

Last night I went with the YM/YW and hiked a peak, which is 3.4 miles each way. It was quite a hike--pretty long, and so pretty! I just love to hike and we haven't been able to go for a while. We hiked up so we could see the sunset and it was gorgeous! I haven't ever done a night hike either, so that was a fun experience to do that! It just makes me want to hike more! The youth are great too, so they made it a lot of fun!

Our little girl is growing up

It is crazy to me that Kate is just growing so much. I don't think she is considered a baby anymore, but I still call her my baby and probably will until we have another baby! She is just such a sweet little girl. Jeff and I love having our little girl. (food on her face and all)

The Bees Game

Last Friday, we went to our first Baseball game of the season. I love to go to the stadium--there is just something great about being at a baseball game! We had a great meal and fun with friends--what more can you ask for?

This is another picture I forgot to put up. It makes me laugh! Kate really does love the scriptures, but it has more to do with turning the thousands of pages than anything else! This is in Whitney's room while we were there.

My mom kept the wonderful wonder blocks and we had the best time building. This picture was taken right before Kate started crying. She didn't love it, but we sure had fun!

Trip to California

Well, Kate and I went on a little mini vacation to California. My sister Whitney graduated from high school so Melissa and I went down there for a little moral support and had a good ole time! Kate loved having people around (especially her 5 month old cousin Teagan) and having a new place to explore--we swam in the neighborhood pool--played badminton at the park and just had a great time. We also got some fun sisters pictures taken--I will just link you to Melissa's blog so you can have a looksie.

Little Soccer Player

I am so excited to live all of my dreams through Kate (whether she likes it or not). I hear it is healthy.

Fun at the Park

I have a feeling I will have a lot of park posts this summer! Kate loves to go to the park and climb up everything and explore. Kate is such a fun age and I am loving this summer so much! Time is already going by too fast!

These two loved climbing up and around together. They don't really play together as much as by each other. I love it.

Kate's new chair

I saw these mini lawn chairs and couldn't resist! Kate LOVES it! She carries it around everywhere and just loves to sit and swing her legs! It has been about a week and she still loves it so I am feeling pretty good about this three dollar purchase.

Full Time Walker

I realized I didn't announce that Kate started walking full time about a month ago. I love it!! I think new little walkers are so cute! Kate is also starting to want to help with everything and does stuff we do, it is so fun!
