Halloween

For some crazy reason, this year for Halloween, we decided to make all the kids costumes so they could all be Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles--it was  a big project!!

The only pumpkin captured this year...it was Ty's (he LOVES Mickey so much!)

Here are the kids the say before Halloween, at the school parade.
(Kate is Donatello, Scott is Leonardo, Austin is Raphael)

Kate, Austin, Scott at class parties

And finally the big night!  Time to trick or treat (we could NOT get Ty to hold still for one picture!)

The kids loved trick or treating so much this year, the three older kids really got it this time.  Kate was RUNNING house to house through the whole neighborhood.  They all got a scary amount of candy!

Ty and his buddy Tucker next door.

Ty surprisingly got really into trick or treating, he loved it!!

After about 20 houses, he sat in the stroller and ate candy.

When we got home, everyone was so crazy (especially Ty!)

Ty was so tired, but still wanted to eat candy (eating a sucker here)
This was definitely the best Halloween yet, All 4 kids were the perfect ages and just so fun, can't wait til next Halloween!

*Not pictured, we even had Grandma Packer drive up for trick or treating and I just realized that we have no pictures with her!  The kids loved walking around with Grandma.  Thanks for coming to visit!

BYU Soccer Game

We went to a Women's Soccer game at BYU and it was so fun!  The three older kids loved it.  We went out to eat at Brick Oven first for some delicious pizza, then headed over to the game.  The kids saw Cosmo (and were thrilled with that).  Ty was the one who did not enjoy himself.  We sat right by the scoreboard and every time there was a sub, the horn would blow really loud which made Ty jump into my arms every time.  It really scared him.  He even talked about it the next day and kept touching his ear.  Austin is #9 and Scott is #12

Kate now has big plans to be one of these soccer girls someday.

Ty feeling very concerned!

Fall Happenings...

Although BYU is having a rough season, we had a bright point.  Bert and Karin invited us into their box to watch BYU vs. Nevada.  It was great to get out and be with friends (even if BYU got killed)!

We took the kids to Trafalga (not pictured) and the dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving over Fall Break.  The dinosaur museum was pretty cool, this shark was pretty shocking with how big it was (you can't tell but it came out of the wall)

Austin and Scott are taking off on reading!  They are both reading at about a level F (they are supposed to be at level C at the end of the year).  They enjoy it so much and read almost every morning (they wake up really early because of Daylight Savings!)  Austin and Scott are both loving school and learning so much.

Scott, Austin

Ty thinking he's big!

Austin and Scott got to go on a field trip to a pumpkin patch

Jeff planted 8 trees this fall (the two in the front, three up the side, 2 peach and an apple)

We had some visitors too--Zac and Melissa and family.  We went to the Curiosity Museum at Thanksgiving Point.  (Scott and I are in a little cave that simulates a hurricane), there were so many fun things there, we could have stayed all day (and actually did stay for a good part of it)

Zac and Melissa went somewhere at one point and we fed all the kids, it wasn't as crazy as I expected, but I had to get a picture!  (Austin on right, Scott left)

On the zipline, all the kids went, they are all on video. They each went a couple of times!

Ty wasn't sure after!

We also went to the desert in October with most of the Ryan and Malece and Rick and Micah's families.  The kids dug holes, rode Kyle's dirtbike (and LOVED), roasted hot dogs and marshmallows, ate junk food, and got filthy!  The day was a success!

The kids all love to play together and as you can imagine with 3 boys, there is a lot of wrestling (and this usually ends in tears)

Austin got Principal's Pride!!

Austin got Principal's Pride, he was SO excited, and we were so so proud!  He got it for being such a good listener in class and being on task (I've been there and he deserved it, he's been trying so hard!)
It was crazy because he got it on the same day a lot of friends got it--Emma, Grant Rugg, Emory Balmforth, and Kayli Ballif.

Good job Auzzie!!  We love you!
