California for Thanksgiving

We went to stay with Grandma Packer for Thanksgiving.  We had such a great time, the weather was beautiful, the company was great, and we really enjoyed ourselves!

The night before we left, after the car was packed, Scott threw up.  We decided we would just go anyway.  That ended up circling through everybody but Jeff, but luckily it wasn't terrible as far as stomach bugs go.

Our first night, we stayed at the Hyatt just a few miles from Grandma's house.  It was a great hotel, and we swam the next morning.  It was so pleasant! (Scott is wearing the red shirt)

We ate Thanksgiving dinner Wednesday because Thursday was supposed to be beautiful, we went to the beach that day.  It was the best beach day I've ever had.  It was in the 80's--even the locals were commenting on how incredible the weather was.

 Someone gave Scott this penguin, he loved it for the rest of the trip until we accidentally left it in California.

I even got out there and went boogie boarding, it was so fun.  

We found SO many shells and even a bunch of unbroken sand dollars!

 One of our favorite things was just hanging out around the house--playing at the park across the street, and swimming.

 

Another favorite thing was going to the fish hatchery and feeding the fish.

Austin's Turn

It has become a big deal for who gets to put the star on the tree and finally it was Austin's turn!

Scott got Principal's Pride

Scott was so excited to get Principal's Pride for his apple project.  What a cute boy!

Ty's First Haircut

I really didn't want to do it, I put it off for a long time, I especially loved the little white curl at the back, but we decided it was time.
