San Diego

We went to San Diego as a family.  We went with Zac and Melissa's family too.  It was a great time!  We drove and just went to St. George for the first leg.  We spent two nights there, then continued to San Diego.  We got a house to share together.  The kids loved it.  There was a lot of craziness going on!  The kids enjoyed being together so much!

The kids loved switching cars during different legs of the journey.

The house we stayed in had a pool. The kids swam every chance they got.

We received this picture in a text from Uncle Zac.  Austin really wanted to buy this--look at that face.

Fall Soccer

This was the first year we switched soccer leagues.  All games are played on Saturdays and the kids will be on the same team in the fall and spring.

This was Ty's first season playing soccer.  He loved to dance around his ball, but enjoyed playing on his team so much!

Scott loves playing goalie.  He is getting pretty good at it and always enjoys playing it.

We may not have any pictures of Kate.  Mom coached Kate's soccer team, so didn't have a chance to get a lot of pictures.  Kate had a great season and is becoming an aggressive soccer player.  Mom always hated to take her off the field.

Scott (wearing a hat in an extra cold game)

Austin (center right) had a great season.  He is getting to be a really strong and aggressive player.

Mom and Dad had so much fun cheering for all of the kids.  They all had great seasons and learned a lot!

Jeff hikes Mount Timpanogas

On Labor Day weekend, Jeff fulfilled a longtime goal of hiking Mount Timpanagos.  He went with Mike Neider.  It is a 15 mile hike roundtrip.

Ty's First Day of Kindergarten

Ty started kindergarten a week later than the older kids.  He was SO excited!

Logan also thought he would be going to school

Ty walked right in and sat down at his desk.

Logan tried to hug Ty goodbye, but Ty was much too busy doing his schoolwork.

It is always bittersweet sending these little ones to school for the first time.  The funny thing is the thought of crying didn't even occur to Ty.  He was pretty funny about the whole thing.  We love you Ty man!
