Kids Christmas Sing Along

Kate's class went first.  They sang a song with flashlights, very cool!

Kate's class also got to play the recorders, she picked it up quick because of piano.  She loved it!

Here is Austin, next to friend Lindi Bolke

These kids all sang so well.  Dad even surprised the kids and came even in the middle of a workweek.  This program is definitely a highlight for the year.

Christmas Idaho Visit

We went up to Idaho for Mom's cousin's wedding and to visit family for Christmas time.  The drive up was pretty horendous, this is the view in front of our car for the last hour or so.

Grandma Packer gave all of the kids their Christmas presents--homemade little animals-- so they could play with them all together.  The kids loved them!

Logan at 8 months

Man, this kid is just getting cuter and cuter and more fun each day.  He is such a pleasant peach and loves to be awake and playing with everybody.  He loves scooting everywhere on his bum (and mom and dad are trying to come up with a gate for the stairs quick as well as baby proofing everything with a house full of little lego loving kids 😕)

Logan loves Ty and all of his siblings.  He will watch Ty all day and loves when Ty talks to him!

Logan also really loves Kate, he probably thinks of her as a second mom
This is at the dentist's office, they have a little slide and Kate wanted to take him down it, Logan loved it!

Logan really loves the crocheted blanket on the right.  He also really loves his soft baby (this was Kate's once upon a time)

Ty and Logan are starting to interact more and more.  Ty was thrilled with this game (and surprisingly, so was Logan).  He put the box over Logan and left it for a while, then took it off, they both were laughing and squealing and having a great time.

Logan is grabbing for everything (and putting it in his mouth).  He is getting pretty bored with his toys and wants the real stuff--computer, phone, piano, camera, and books.  Basically everything he knows he isn't supposed to have.

He has started clapping and loves to do it.  When we say Yay, he will clap his hands a lot of the time. He loves to have books read to him.  He loves ripping apart books.  He loves paper and magazines and ripping them apart and eating them, hopefully this is healthy for him.  He loves finding little tiny things and putting them in his mouth.

When he eats, he really likes to be entertained, it has gotten pretty out of control.  Dad is doing a big dance and song while Mom tries to feed.  Occasionally, he is really hungry and eats really well and it is beautiful.  He is mostly called "Baby."  We have even talked about changing his name, but we are feeling pretty sure about Logan now (it's about time too since he is 8 months old!)

He is still exclusively nursing which is fantastic, but sadly he isn't sleeping well--probably those 2 are linked.  He doesn't nap great either--probably linked to his poor nighttime sleep too.

Even though he is a lot of work, he makes us all so happy.  We all want to make him smile and laugh and clap.  We love you baby!

Jazz Game

Since Austin, Scott, and Kate all participated in Jr. Jazz basketball, they all got tickets to a Jazz game, they went with the McIntires and Mom stayed home with Logan.

Getting ready for Christmas

Silly boy

Look who we ran into at Target!  Scott wanted a picture with him.

Jake and Angie gave this train set to Ty because they were done with it, little did they know that it would be a hit for all of the kids (and a magnet for them for days)

At the ward Christmas party, the kids did the nativity

Not sure if Austin didn't want to?
