Bear Lake with Durtschi Family

Melissa and Zac had a cabin in Bear Lake for a week through Zac’s work. They invited all of the siblings and Grandma Packer to come for the weekend. We had so much fun together and it was such a perfect weekend.

The weather was the perfect temperature and since the pool is heated, the kids loved swimming in it. Here, Scott is giving Everly a shoulder ride.

We went down to Bear Lake on both Friday and Saturday. The sound was great and we all had a fun time down there.

At one point, Everly, age 4, buried a little yellow ball that went with their Bocce ball set. Mom laughed at everybody is they dug through the sand for about 10 minutes looking for it. Then, in a random chance, mom moved some sand with her foot and out popped the yellow ball, much to everybody’s surprise!

They were tennis and pickle ball courts there and we loved playing with those both days as well.

The house accommodations were so comfortable. The kids loved hanging out together.

Everyone here is playing bocce ball together.

Jax, Teagan, and Austin hanging out.

Aunt Elise took the four Littles to the playground to play. The four little kids were inseparable and had so much fun together.

Of course, we had to place in spike ball

One of the highlights of the weekend was when we all played ultimate frisbee in the shallow part of the water together. We had so much fun.

Teagan and Austin went and played frisbee together out in deep water too.

It was such a dreamy weekend. We were so excited to spend time with cousins and have so much fun together.

Fall Soccer

Kate, Austin, Ty, and Logan all played rec soccer this fall. It was fun to get to meet people down here with similar interests.

Here is Austin, in the championship game, doing a throw in.

After one of the really hot games, they all took their shirts off. Austin really enjoyed this team.

Watching the shoot out in the championship game--it came to penalty kicks after double overtime.

They ended up losing, but it was such a great season. Definitely looking forward to next season.

This was Logan's first time ever playing soccer. Kaylie across the street was his coach and he had a lot of fun.

They finally got their jerseys for the last two games, here he is doing a throw in (kick in)

Kate also really enjoyed her team. At first she wasn't sure, but she loved it by the end.

She ended up playing forward most of the season. At first she wasn't sure, but she ended up loving it.

Ty got off to a slow start, but by game 2, he really came alive. He was an impressive sweeper and was very focused.

It was a whirlwind season with so many games, but so much fun to watch each kid develop.
