Learning Time
We've been trying to do learning time sometimes, one thing we have been working on is writing their name. They wrote these completely by themselves (Scott's bottom name)

Happy Birthday Austin and Scott!
We celebrated Austin and Scott's 4th birthdays and had such a fun time. Each got to choose their favorite meal. Scott's favorite meal was breakfast for dinner and we had that Sunday. Austin's favorite meal was chicken pillows, we had that Monday. They both also requested muffins ("like the ones we had at Great Grandma Packer's house"), so we made those that morning. Luckily, they were both pretty easy going, so we could make all their wishes come true and still take care of Baby Ty!
Grandma Packer made the boys new blankets. They are still deciding who gets which color! This is Scott.
Scott finally got his own bike, and with his favorite character these days: Buzz Lightyear
Austin with the orange.
Austin got a rescue bot--Blades. I was sure I would have some explaining to do to Austin, but it turned out we had to explain to Scott why he didn't get a rescue bot!
Scott with his choice of cake--Chocolate
Austin with his choice of cake--birthday sprinkle cake
When it came time to blow out the candles, they wouldn't blow out. We had accidentally gotten trick candles that wouldn't blow out. It was pretty funny (I was wondering why there were so few candles in the pack!)
Scott had gone first, so Austin was a little apprehensive to attempt to blow his candles out.
Grandma and Grandpa Lewis got the boys these car ramps, this is Scott with his emergency one.
Austin got one with cool care. They both loved them.
And finally, after the long day, sleep. Scott wearing his special PJ's

Buzz Lightyear
We got these pajamas for Scott this year. They are a size 4T. He feels VERY strongly about them. They bring the strongest of emotions--if they are dirty, he cries, if they are clean he laughs and dances and runs around shooting his Laser Taser. It's amazing how much he loves these. I've been tempted to "lose" them, but they bring him a lot of joy, so for now, we'll stick it out!

Austin Scott Kate Antics
Kate is constantly reading--she is doing so well and wants to read for about an hour a day--this works out pretty well since Ty likes to eat for an hour 7 times a day--so we all sit on the couch and read a lot.
Kate is really sweet reading to her brothers, Austin was laying his head on her shoulder seconds before, but we missed it.
This entertained for a few days and surprisingly, no one ever got hurt.
The inversions have been really bad this winter, so Jeff took the kids up to the mountains to get some fresh air and go sledding. They had so much fun (Dad left the camera in the car, but the sledding was fun too) until the end when everyone got cold. They were happy by the time they were home and loved a day out.Tuesday, January 15, 2013
A little more Ty
I can't help myself, they change so fast these first few months, I want to remember his cute little face.
A few days old
Can we count this as a smile?
We love this little man! (And I think multiple times a day--it's a good thing they come so darn cute because they sure take a lot of work!)

Loving Our Little Guy
We are really enjoying Ty, Kate especially loves helping--wanting to change diapers, burping, holding, feeding him bottles, getting things for him and putting his "bubba" in.
Austin was a little nervous at first, but soon was giving Ty his special stuffed animals.
Grandma Packer right before she headed home--Ty was hungry
Ty already loves his Daddy
Scott--even gave Ty his Scoopy Scoop
