Hike up Bell's Canyon

We went on a fun hike up Bells canyon with the Rasmussens.

Here, the kids wanted to hike up a steeper waterfall.  This picture doesn't do it justice, it was pretty daring!

Ty, Ty the Tomato Boy

Ty really loves tomatoes--more than any kid I have ever seen.  At breakfast, he is given the choice between apples, oranges, bananas, strawberries, carrots, and tomatoes.  He will always choose tomato!!  Today at lunch, Ty asked for some pineapple (his other favorite) and Mom noticed there were some chopped tomatoes in the fridge.  Mom mentioned this and Ty decided he wanted tomatoes.  After contemplating this for a moment, Ty announced tomatoes are much better than pineapple.  Love our tomato boy!

Camping at Lava Hot Springs

We went camping with the Daniels and the Kaufmans, We had so much fun!

The kids discovered that they could raft down the river next to our campsite and go down a few rapids, they had so much fun and went down this river many times.

Durtschi Family Reunion

We went to Idaho over the 4th of July for a Durtschi family reunion, it was so fun!

When we first arrived, we were seeing Austin and Scott for the first time in a week.  We drove up to find Austin driving this excavator and Scott was driving Grandpa's dump truck.  We were very surprised!

For the fireworks, we went downtown to visit the big fireworks display. It was pretty spectacular!

For one of the activities, all the men wore shirts with candy glued on and ran around while all the kids tried to grab the candy off of the shirts.

Everyone went to Melissa's house to ride on the slip 'n slide one day, all of the cousins had so much fun together.

We love coming to Idaho!  Can't wait til next time!
