July and August Randoms
Austin has taken an interest in Ty lately. He loves to run into Ty's room in the morning and greet him, he always has songs for Ty, love for Ty, and time for Ty, it's very sweet.
Ty getting some love from Kate (she always is very willing too)
Scott who lately (and always) is very easy going. You can often here from him, "Whatever, I don't care." He is very sweet and unselfish in that way.
Ty started this cheeser smile in July and it's pretty much his go to.
Kate LOVES taking pictures. I find hundreds with Kate's trademark look all the time.
Kate climbing the rock wall at the school carnival. Kate loves rock climbing and takes the opportunity every chance she gets.
Kate also learned how to mix, pour and flip pancakes this summer, it is a big help!
Of course, there was lots of outside play (and the car scenes did not end well!)

Ward Campout
The ward had a campout at the stake property. The kids were so excited. Two years ago, when we went, Kate was devastated to have to miss out on the zipline, so she could not wait to get on there. She did great and even did it a few times. This time though, Scott was the one wishing he could go (Austin was good!)
We stayed 2 nights at the camp, so brought all the camping gear--trucks, bikes, games. It was a lot of fun, getting to hang out with ward members, and kids playing with friends. Can't wait til next ear! (Austin in the BYU hat, Scott in the fedora)

Finished the basement!
We finished the basement in August! Everyone was so excited to get down there once the carpet was laid. (Scott, Austin, Kate)

4th of July in Idaho
I missed many photo-ops. Here are a few:
Melissa has a huge hill at her new house and set up a giant slip'n'slide that the kids (and adults) absolutely loved. This was a little water toy for the kids, Ty and Ellie especially enjoyed it.
We met at Tautphaus Park in Idaho Falls one day.
We stayed with Grandma and Grandpa Durtschi and the kids had so much fun!
This was the point when I ran screaming after the four wheeler when Grandpa was getting a little crazy and Austin (in the back) about fell off!
Not pictured:
-Adeline and her baby blessing, so glad we were able to be a part of that
-everyone sitting around chatting, enjoying each other's company
-fireworks and the many parachutes we sent up
-Austin's new red cowboy hat from Grandpa Durtschi
-Ice Cream Birthday celebration for Jake and Grandma Packer
We had such a fun weekend and were so glad to get to spend time with our family!
