BYU Football + Coronavirus

BYU has been limiting fans this year. Some of the games have not allowed any fans at all, some have allowed up to 6000. On one of these games, Jeff was invited to Bert's box. They all had a great time together!

For this year, BYU is selling seats and will put up cut outs of people. Jadee Talbot bought one.

October Trip to Idaho

Mom was feeling homesick for some Idaho family, so we got to go up just for a weekend of fun. For an activity, we went to Brian's house and made apple cider all together. Brian has a whole operation including a cider press, a disposal to grind up the apples, etc. The kids even got involved and we had so much fun!

We were able to make all of this apple cider. It is so delicious!

Such a great weekend and just what we all needed!

Bubbles

After doing the dishes, Scott, in a very responsible way, put in the soap and started the dishwasher. Unfortunately, it was dish soap. Kate was in the house and came and told Mom that the dishwasher was sounding funny. Mom opened it up and bubbles were about 6 inches deep. Scott got it cleaned out and lesson learned.

Jam + A Pony Ride

Logan got this little wood set from Home Depot and loved putting it together while the kids were at school.

We made lots of Peach Raspberry jam with raspberries from the garden and peaches from the tree. Yum!

A friend (one we did joy school with for Logan) invited us to come over and take a ride in the carriage with their little pony. The kids enjoyed it.

Logan and Kensley have loved playing together. They play together all day every day and are in and out of the houses all day!

Fall Soccer

Spring soccer was canceled along with many summer activities, so we were SO thrilled to be able to have the kids play soccer this fall. The four older kids played and had great seasons.

Logan with the Kimble's daughter, Jubilee.

Scott made friends with a group of refugee boys, they all were passing the ball around the circle.

Austin and Ty playing together before their games.

Ty with his team.

The kids all had such fun seasons. We loved watching the kids play and cheering them on. Until next season!!

Camping + An Unusual Sighting

We went out to the sand dunes in late September for a camping trip. While we were there, a group of cosplayers (people who dress up for things like Comic Con) showed up to take some pictures. And they were Star Wars characters!!

All of the characters were so kind and willing to take pictures with all of the kids.

Han Solo (the young one)

Boba Fett

The Mandalorian

Queen Amidala

The boys loved shooting their guns

Marian and Cody came out with us too. It was a great camping trip!

Fall Randoms + a Dangerous Hike

The kids love playing out front now that the weather has gotten wild. Things have been up and going a bit more as far as coronavirus goes, but with fall, things are hinting at shutting down again.

We had a leak in our bathroom from our washer upstairs. It was a mess to say the least, but we got it dried out, cleaned up, and replaced. It is nice that we are learning how to do some of these things.

Logan loves playing games. He and mom play games a lot of days.

Jeff is still working at home. Everyone has gotten used to it and it is working out.

During conference, Logan loved doing this 500 piece BYU puzzle with everybody

Dad and his work set up

We had a few peaches this year, not as many as last, but still maybe 30 - 60

Dad took the three oldest kids on a hike and from the sound of it, it was a good thing Mom wasn't there to freak out about kids being safe.
