We had a special visitor at our ward Christmas party. We waited in line and all along, I asked Kate if she wanted a treat and she kept saying yes. I told her she would have to sit on Santa's lap to get it. Well, when we were next in line, I asked Kate if she wanted a treat again and she said no. I knew it was going downhill from there, but I will admit it was pretty funny.

I'm glad you got some good pictures of it at least! Sadie had a couple of times crying on Santa's lap too.
too cute. its funny how kids love santa until they come close to him then its kicking and screaming
That is so funny! I love the look on her face in the first one. Our Santa picture this year has one of the elders in it, I don't know who took that picture. (I was setting up and the young women were watching Teagan)
See you in less than a week!
I love these pics! She will get a good laugh when she is older.
You've got to love this age. We tried to get pictures at our Christmas party but Owen just stared and stared at the Santa. We have a great picture of the back of Owen's head.
Her face in those pics is priceless.
The pics are so great! I keep looking at them. Sweet Kate. Gotta love her. :) It was fabulous to see you.
The facial expressions say it all! she is a cutie!
You're brave for getting that far. Tyler won't even get within 30 feet of Santa when we see him at the mall. I don't even dare try getting him on his lap because I'm sure it would not be pleasant!
That is hilarious! I love the progressive shots of her terror. SO funny! Poor thing. I have a feeling that once she understands what Santa brings her each year, she'll warm right up to him.
lol I love the look on her face!
I love it! I love that she put it all together that sitting on Santa's lap came with a treat and that at the end maybe it wasn't worth it! What a smarty!
That's so cute! She actually looks like she did pretty well considering... Sanata's kind of scary when you think about it. Merry Christmas!
