We are going to buy a new car in the next few weeks. We have always been stuck on Toyota (Camry or Corolla) or Honda (Accord or Civic), but are thinking about broadening our horizons. What are your thoughts on Hyundais or Nissans as far as reliability (or any other thoughts). I would love any input!!

Check out Consumer Reports to see what they say about long-term reliability and consumer issues. They have an online presence that you can check out. Personally I still love Honda and Toyota, and will probably continue to buy from them in the future.
I love my Saturn Aura! It is the best car I have ever had...
I just need to give you my thoughts on Hyundais ... They are the worst cars ever. They look nice, and have a good warranty.. but you will use it. If you want more info on them I would be happy to tell you all the fun I had with mine! Good luck new cars are so much fun!
I love my Honda Accord and am a Honda girl for life. And I agree with the previous comment about Hyundais. Nissans are nice cars but very expensive.
You may want to look at broadening even more. If I know my friend Jeff "The Body" Lewis at all, I know that his true heart's desire would be to own a monster truck with a BYU logo on the hood. And flames running down the sides. And a picture of Tony Danza painted on the rear window.
I've really liked my Nissan Altima
Sorry, I love toyotas. They drive smoothly and I have had my car for 8 years and it has not been in the shop.....knock on wood.
I too love Hondas and Toyotas. We've had such good luck with them we don't want to take a chance with any other make.
my mom, sis, and mom-in-law all have Hyundais and love them. How fun to get a new car! Good luck!
I like yukons or tahoes personally. something about driving a big car around that comfortably fits all my kiddos is a plus in my book. :) for cars - I'm not too sure. We have a pontiac G6 and it has been a good car for us (more sporty and sometimes hard for family road trips) but we are almost out of a car anyway. good luck
