We went on a Disney Cruise with the Durtschi side of the family. We all had so much fun. We left Friday morning and got ready to travel all day. We barely made our flight. Security held us to check our bags and they took their sweet time. We still didn't realize we were running so late, we thought we should hurry, but we weren't frantic. Jeff and the older kids ran ahead and I stayed while they checked the bag. Jeff got to our gate and everyone was on the plane, they were going to shut the door in two minutes. The lady told Jeff you can either get on the plane and leave her, or wait and all miss it together. Jeff started moving slowly toward the door. Meanwhile, I was coming through the airport. I still had no idea how close we were (it was still 10 minutes before the plane was scheduled to leave), but I was walking quickly/jogging a bit. Luckily, we did make it. Then we got on the plane. It was a full flight and we were a family of 5. Everyone avoided eye contact. Fortunately, their were two very nice people that switched seats so Kate and Austin sat together, then Scott and I sat together with the baby. What a relief!!
We got on the same flight with Garth and Alicia and their 2 boys (Austin back, Kate, Scott, Palmer)
This was our welcome to the hotel, it made it so fun (although Austin did NOT think it was fun!)
We got on the cruise at about 11:00, then had the afternoon to start eating, get our rooms situated, eat, swim, eat, meet characters, eat, and just relax
Daisy welcomed us onto the boat. (Austin holding my hand, Kate and Scott with Daisy, this proved to be a theme throughout the cruise)
Scott with his Mickey bar--the kids loved ordering whatever they wanted and yummy desserts every night!
Austin had Mac'n'cheese for every single lunch and dinner on the cruise without exception! Yum!
This was the only time we took Ty out on the verrandah, I couldn't handle it! He seemed to love it though!
