Ty's First Ski Day

We went skiing as a family with everyone but Logan.  It was Ty's first time skiing and he did great.

Ty really picked up skiing quickly and by the end of the day was doing really great.  It was so fun to be up there all together!

Ty turned 6!

For his birthday, Ty got a new ride on toy and a book.  We went to the church so he could ride around.  Ty decided this year, for the first time, to celebrate his birthday on his actual birthday instead of June.  It was fun!

Ty learned to say his R's clearly earlier this year.  He decided one day to start trying to say them and within a month, he had them down.

Ty is such a sunshine boy.  He is learning to be kind to his siblings, especially Logan.  We love him so much!  Happy Birthday!

We didn't get going until about 7:30.  We had to wait for everyone to wake up.  Kate, Austin, Scott, and Mom all waited downstairs for a while.

Christmas Eve

We finally got over our sicknesses in time for Christmas.  Grandma Packer came to spend it with us.

She brought her juicer so we could make real orange juice.  We all loved it!

We also carried on our tradition of making gingerbread houses, here is Austin working on his.

It was a wonderful day as a family and a wonderful time to reflect on the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
