Spring Break Trip to Moab

We went to Moab for Spring Break this year.  It was Dad and Mom's first time there as well.  We loved it so much time, we had a great time!  We stopped at Deadhorse Point first.  It was so incredible!

We hiked along Deadhorse Point for a while.

The next morning, we got up early to go hike to Delicate Arch.  It was surprisingly cold in the morning.

All bundled up for the hike!

Next, we hiked to the Sand Dune Arch

The kids had so much fun at Sand Dune Arch.  There was a lot of sand around that Logan played in, there were also different little places to explore around the area.  We stayed here for a few hours.

Austin and Dad went on a high adventure hike by Sand Dune Peak, it was one of their highlights of the trip.

Logan loved playing in the sand all day!

We next hiked to Broken Arch (I think it is called that).  It was close to Sand Dune Arch.

Our drive into Arches National Park

We hiked out to Landscape Arch as well.  Some big chunks fell from this arch a few years back, so you can't get as close anymore.  At one point, it is only about 5 feet wide.

Landscape Arch is on the Devil's Garden loop trail.  It got a little tricky shortly after Landscape Arch, so Mom, Ty, and Logan stayed back while Dad went with Kate, Scott and Austin to explore more.  Mom, Ty and Logan saw a couple of arches on the way back.  I think the one below is Wall Arch.

Our last stop was at The Windows, including Parade of Elephants and Double Arch.

The 4 older kids and Dad hiked up to the arch.  In the picture above, you can see where they hiked to--it is the arch on the lower left.

Austin and Kate hiking around and exploring

Scott found a small rock and worked all week on carving it into an arch!

Our very last stop was at Balanced Rock, here is Austin holding it up.

We had SUCH a fun trip!  We got some great family time and created some fun memories.  We can't wait to go back!
