Christmas in Utah

When we got back from California, we spent some time with family here. The day after we got back, we all got together and had a nice dinner and the nativity scene. I always love to see it! It is so cute!

These two are such good friends.
All of the participants from the nativity scene.
Kate got to reuse her Halloween costume (no there aren't bunnies in the nativity, she is a sheep)
All the men sang a quintet version of Away in a Manger. It was very entertaining!
These three are very close in age and Kate just loves these two cousins. She gets along so well with both of them.

Jeff's brother and sister-in-law were nice enough to share their four wheelers with us. We had a great time. Kate loved going with Grandpa and daddy!

Back at home--Kate made a huge mess of herself with yogurt!
This is the little purse I made for Kate for Christmas--it matches mine. At first she wasn't interested, but one time when we were going to the store, she ran to her room and brought it out. I guess she did get it! I love it! Now, every time we go to the store, Kate has to have her purse.
Kate also loves these little Dollar Store Special shoes. They are quite lovely, as you can see.
Well, that was our Christmas Break. It was a really nice break, and now back to real life and waiting for these babies!

Christmas in California

We had the best time down in California and I dare say that good times were had by all

Kate loves Grandma's wonder blocks! She is really into building stuff and these are so fun!
Kate and Teagan loved taking baths together--I just can't resist these cute bath pictures.

We played a little white elephant with our family and some good neighbor friends. This was one of my favorite presents. Notice the brand name of these "napkins." (you might have to click on the picture)
Another favorite--my mom got a durag (not sure how to spell), but it was pretty great!
This was Jeff's present, he was going to wear it, but thought it might fit Kate better. I think Kate is going to be a natural born cheerleader!
We went to some of my mom's family friend's for Christmas Eve and there were only three little kids. Kate was Mary--I LOVE this picture! It was definitely an interesting nativity scene with three toddlers playing the parts!
This was the present Kate picked, she got pretty good at unwrapping presents by the end.
And this is the actual Christmas morning. We all got presents from my grandma Packer--knitted wash cloths and we love them!
These two loved Grandma. They followed her everywhere!
Kate sporting her hot new shoes.
I love this picture! Melissa was very exciteD!
Classic! I hope you aren't mad at me for putting this one on!
Whitney got her Barney toy from childhood, and the joy on her face says it all.
Bad picture with the glare, but such a fun present--Jeff got some poker chips! We loved playing Texas Hold'em there.

We just had a great Christmas break! Good times were had by all. Thanks mom!

Santa Claus

We had a special visitor at our ward Christmas party. We waited in line and all along, I asked Kate if she wanted a treat and she kept saying yes. I told her she would have to sit on Santa's lap to get it. Well, when we were next in line, I asked Kate if she wanted a treat again and she said no. I knew it was going downhill from there, but I will admit it was pretty funny.

Thanksgiving

I forgot to post these pictures from Thanksgiving. Kate had a great time playing with Grandpa! It was pretty fun to watch!

Kate loved the little tea set so much! She had the little doll sitting in the chair and wanted us sitting there too so she could serve us. It makes me want to get her a little table and chairs set.

More Fun with Kate

I know I always post the funny things Kate does, I just want to make sure we remember them and that they are documented. There just seems to be such unique stuff with each age. Anyway, this is so funny to me because we put socks on her feet to go to sleep and she takes them off. I went in to check on her after she had been asleep for a while, and she had put it on her hand and she sleeps like that. I don't even know how she gets it on there!
Jeff's parents came over to visit one night and Kate was SO excited! She sat right by Grandpa while he read her stories, she loved it. It is funny though, after they left, we asked her if she had fun with Grandpa, and she says, "and Grandma."

23 weeks pregnant and other odds and ends

Here I am 23 weeks pregnant. The picture didn't turn out great, I did the self timer and that is always tricky! I think I look bigger than this though. I feel bigger anyway!
My dad and stepmom got these for us! We are so excited! I think they turned out so cute! The two car seats both hook into the stroller. A lot of people ask what we will do with Kate. And I think we will have Kate ride in one seat, one of the boys in the other and the other we will carry in a little pouch you wear on the front.

We are practicing taking care of babies. Kate is pretty good! She came up with the idea to feed them bottles! She loves babies (hopefully that continues!)

And I can't believe this--December 2nd and it was warm enough to walk around the neighborhood and go play at the park! I love it!
