Grandpa Lewis dropped us off at the airport for a 10 am flight. It was delayed an hour, but we eventually made it.
We met a little friend on the flight, Kate loved getting to hold her.
After the flight, we took the Newport Airport Express to our hotel near Times Square. Here, Austin and Scott are wowed at seeing the New York skyline for the first time.
We went and saw Times Square, it was pretty spectacular and had so many people. The three older kids commented that they didn’t realize they were such country folk until now.

We went and got McDonalds for dinner. The restaurant is not open for dine in (because of COVID) so we took our food and ate in Times Square.
It was a very exciting first day!
